Our lives have turned almost mechanical, we’re all running a rat race. Most of us are so busy with work we hardly spend time at home, let alone spend some quality time with our family and or partners.

So, what can we do to bring back the romance in our lives? I figure let’s go back to the basics.

Ask your partner out on a date/ have a weekly date night:
This would add some spice to your life. You both would have something to look forward to each week. It will just help you re – connect like never before.

2. Write letters/leave each other little notes or texts:
Getting an “I love you” or an “I miss you” text or random note just makes us smile, so why not do it more often?

3. Buying or making something special:
It doesn’t have to be expensive, it’s just the thought that counts. It could be anything, the book they’ve been meaning to buy, something that caught their eye while you both were out last time, some flowers, baking them their favourite cake, anything! The fact that you were thinking of them even while you were busy.

4. Getting out of town:
A romantic holiday just tops the list. It needn’t be an extravagant affair. It could just be a trip out of town to some quiet place where it’s just the two of you.

5. Surprising them on special days like anniversaries, birthdays etc.:
The fact that you remember important dates like anniversaries and birthdays just shows how much you care. And if you remember other things like when you had your first date, that is just absolutely romantic!

Remember this, all your partner needs from you is your time.

Spread the love
