Do you wake up tired and lethargic every morning? Do you wish you have just five more minutes to spend in bed, and that you didn’t have to go to work today? Well, you are not alone, in fact, many of us can feel like we have lost our spark in life. However, it isn’t something that we just have to grin and bear. In fact, there are plenty of strategies that you can use to reinvigorate your zest for life. Read on to find out what they are.

Plan some fun

One way to get out of bed in the morning with a little more lust for life is by promising yourself a fun activity that you can do straight away. OK, so this may sound a bit crazy, as who gets up and has fun time straight away? However, you need to remember that if you are struggling to wake up and get ready in the morning allowing yourself to read, watch your favorite show, or play a computer game is fantastic motivation. Then, afterwards you will be up and an awake and ready to get on with what the rest of the day, hopefully with a little more enthusiasm and energy.

Improve your sleep

Next, you may be suffering from a loss of spark in life because you are not sleeping well or resting enough. Poor sleep can be caused by a number of reasons including being over stimulated before bed and using the wrong type of mattress.

The reason this can help so much is that a good mattress can stop excessive pressure being placed on the body, something that can cause us to wake or partially wake up during the night and so have a worse quality of sleep.

By doing so, you can gradually get your body used to going to bed and getting to sleep at the same time. Lastly, if you are feeling a bit low on energy and motivation why not take some time to review the goals you are currently working in on? Are they realistic, and manageable, and do you have a clear plan on how to achieve them? If this isn’t the case, it can easily lead to feelings of failure and depression that can rob you of your spark.
