I admire people whose goals are so loud you can see what their priorities are by just looking at them. Whether it’s a jogger out on a chilly morning run, or a determined student spending their time at the library. No one is threatening the jogger, the student isn’t held against their will; 100% of their choices are fueled by willpower. I love that!
Would people be surprised if they heard my goals?
Are my words and actions in alignment?
If someone watched ME, would they know what I want?
I don’t know how you keep yourself in check, but for me, it’s little moments like noticing the jogger that help put things into perspective. Are the choices I’m making bringing me closer to what I want? Am I feeding healthy or unhealthy habits during the day?
What about you? Are your actions in alignment with your thoughts? Are you making choices that reflect your desires? You’re always feeding your goals… the question becomes, are you nourishing or poisoning them?
