People may not realize this but in society, we are all authors of our own lives. So, we have to take control of the pen despite the obstacles we face in life like myself, for example, I chose to take control of my pen because I want people to know my story with Cerebral palsy in my own way.

Versus other people, I want to tell my story in my own way as the woman with Cerebral Palsy that stomps on Cerebral palsy.

I wouldn’t want anyone else to tell my story because they haven’t lived the journey of your life only you have that power and that control over it don’t let anyone co-author your book.

Cause once you do that when you’re the main character of your story and the places you go in life so don’t let anyone tell you differently from what you are a person find that one thing that brings you self-love and pride. To say this is my story and I’m sticking to it as a person who has a journey of many barriers.

Along the way, I have learned that mistakes that I’ve made in my life are now life lessons one the mistakes I made as a young woman was not being proud of what made who I was because of what others thought of me and personally. For example, in grade school, I got picked on by a young boy in my class because of the fact I wore legs braces.

So I decided it would be best if I stop wearing them, but in all seriousness that was one of the biggest mistakes I could have ever made as a human being because at the moment I should have told myself that I was beautiful in my own unique way.

I’m I ashamed of my mistakes no way it’s a part of my story and I’m sticking to it because my story could be someone else inspiration  and that’s will be the reward in itself for me if there’s a person out there with cerebral palsy facing similar battles to mine and I could help them great you know .

That’s why it’s important that you have a sense of what you want your life to be and what people you want around and how you want your story written because we all have to leave something behind someday, so we might as well embrace life as it comes. You never know when it could be your very last chapter, as I say in my book, “James Ticking Time bomb” Don’t wait for tomorrow as tomorrow might be too late.
