It’s time you did yourself a favor by loving yourself more. Yes, other people may have put you down, making you feel unworthy of love. People may have let you down, too. You may have beaten yourself up with critical self-talk and thoughts of self-loathing, so the thought of self-love may be the last thing on your mind. Well, it’s time to STOP BEING HARD ON YOURSELF!

Self-love isn’t about being selfish. It’s not a waste of time. We all need it, and we should all practice it on a daily basis. It’s about being good to ourselves, getting in touch with who we really are, and removing ourselves from the negative words of others, and the debilitating self- beliefs we impose on ourselves. The more love we give to ourselves, the better people we will be, in the way we think of ourselves, and in the way we interact with others. So, what we are saying is this: START LOVING YOURSELF!

Here are 3 simple ways to practice self-love.

Affirm yourself on a daily basis with positive mantras, such as the ones listed on Recite them daily, when you wake up, before you go to bed, and whenever you are feeling self-doubt. Think about the people who love you, remind yourself of their kind words and deeds towards you, and be thankful for those incredible people you do have in your life. Consider the good things about your life, the things you have achieved, and the way you have become a better person because of them. In short, cheer yourself on, find those who will remind you of your goodness, and remove from your mind and life anything that is going to make you feel like a lesser person.

  1. Live It

Focus on the present, doing what you can to improve both your physical, mental and financial well being. From visiting your healthcare professionals to improving your finances with the course from, focus on caring for all of your holistic and material needs. Then do the things that you enjoy, spending time on your favourite hobbies, giving yourself the time to do all those things that make you feel happy. Be with the people you love, and cut out from your life anybody who is going to impact you negatively. Live it like you mean it, using the healthy tips we gave you at to improve your life and focus on your happiness every single day.

  1. Enjoy it

Don’t feel guilty about spending time on yourself – you won’t enjoy it if you do. So, be in the present, owning who you are, and enjoying every second you spend in your own company. You will encounter stresses in your life, and there will be obstacles to face both inwardly and outwardly, but don’t let them rule your life. Enjoy the good times you can give to yourself, and even when those hard times hit, remember your self-worth, and allow that to help you get over life’s challenges.


Don’t put off practicing self-love until tomorrow. You are worthy of it today, so stop for a moment, offer yourself a little self-reflection, and start turning your life around to suit you. You deserve it!
